I like this place where I can find every component or circuit, all the tools when I have to repair or finish s project. They are very kind and available to help if in need of help. Then usually, I can find nice products for penny’s, and if you are lucky, on the table before the entrance they leave something for free: I got two small screens, an hdmi extender wireless, a ton of components and copper wires. To find an excuse to drive there is really easy. Those guys have my personal five stars and half, keep up in this way thanks.

Standard is pretty much the only electronics store in Salt Lake! They have stuff you can only buy there or online. Yeah, some things you can find cheaper online, but you'll never get the service and experience online. It's fun just strolling through the aisles and finding stuff you never knew you needed. Not the treasure hunt that Raelco used to be, but so good that the Raelco knowledge found a new home! Go to Standard and buy things often, we need to keep this resource in our city. I wish it was in Sandy, I'd go more often!

Basically the only place I have found in Salt Lake that even sells small electronics and the components. First time here not gonna be the last.

This place is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. It has a great collection of old and new stuff. Arduino stuff and antique-y components. And lots of things you just need like shrink tubing, audio adapters, etc.

If you are doing a camper van build and need parts, don’t go to Amazon — come here instead! The staff are super helpful, and this local business will have everything you need. Slight discount for paying with cash. This place reminds me of my tinkerer electrician dad’s basement except super well organized! Find parts, adaptors, battery cables, fuses, wire, shrink wrap of all sizes.

Great resource for actual electronic items. They now carry 50ohm coax, that I use for my ham radio equipment.

This is the last bastion of electrical stores in the valley. Since the closure of all the Radio Shacks and Raelco, this is the only place left if you need transistors, wire cutters, high quality precision screwdrivers. If you were looking in DigiKey's catalog, try here first.

I'm really glad these guys are around. I use them often for electronic supplies that aren't readily available locally normally. Often times we're in need of something quick and I can always count on Standard Supply Electronics to have it. Definitely check them out for your electronics needs.
